Google

Google Analytics and Google Ads

Paste your IDs and your site sends Google every visit, a lead each time someone sends a form, and a call each time someone taps your phone number. Leave them empty and your site loads nothing from Google; your visits still show in Reports.

Google Analytics → Admin → Data streams → your website → Measurement ID.

Only if your marketing team uses Tag Manager. Leads and calls are sent to it as generate_lead and click_to_call.

Google Ads → Goals → Conversions → your conversion → Tag setup.

The part after the slash in AW-123456789/AbCdEfGhIjk. With it, every lead counts as a Google Ads conversion.

Turning these on puts Google’s cookies on your site, and your Privacy Policy page says so automatically.

Links and sections

What your site shows

Your LawPay, Clio Payments, or other payment page. Your site shows a Make a Payment button that opens it. Payments go straight to you; they never pass through AttorneyLogic. Leave it empty for no button.

Where your clients sign in to their case (Clio, MyCase, and so on). Your site shows a Client Login link. Leave it empty for no link.

Sections on your site. Switch off anything you don’t want; it disappears from your site, its menu links, and Google.

Your pages

Practice areas and page sections

On Your site: add a practice area with a tap or remove one you don’t handle, and switch any section on a page on or off right on its card. A removed area’s old address sends visitors to your Practice Areas page.

Careers

Job openings

Your site gets a Careers page with each opening and an application form. People attach their resume, and their application appears under Applications below. With no openings, the page still takes general applications.

Resumes are private: only your owners and admins can open them. Archived holds anything you set aside. “Spam check didn’t pass” means the website’s bot check failed; it’s usually spam, but look before deleting. Please delete applications you no longer need.

Guides

Free guides

A PDF your visitors can download, like “What to do after a DUI arrest.” They leave their name and email first, and each download comes in as a lead.

Events

Seminars and events

Free workshops, seminars, and community events. Your site lists upcoming ones on an Events page. People sign up with your own link, or with a short form that comes in as a lead. Past events drop off on their own.

Add an event

Leave it empty and your site uses a short sign-up form instead; each sign-up comes in as a lead.

Newsletter

Newsletter sign-ups

Emails from your site’s newsletter sign-up. Download them as a spreadsheet for Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or your own email tool. Remove anyone who asks.

How this worksPayments and client login links, the map, careers and applications, guides, events, and newsletter sign-ups.

On your website: Make a Payment and Client Login links, a map on the Contact page, and Careers, Guides, and Events pages, each in your design.

  1. Google: paste your Google Analytics 4 ID (G-…) and, if you run Google Ads, the Ads tag ID (AW-…) and lead conversion label, or a Tag Manager ID (GTM-…). Your site then sends a lead for every form sent and a call for every phone tap. Empty means nothing from Google loads.
  2. Links and sections: paste your LawPay or Clio Payments page and your client login page (leave one empty for no button). Switch Careers, Events, Free guides, the map, or the newsletter sign-up off if you don’t want them; a switched-off section disappears from your site, its links, and Google. Press Save. Payments go straight to you.
  3. Careers: add each opening with its title, type, place, and description. Your Careers page lists them with an application form; with none, it takes general applications.
  4. Applications: each one shows the person, the job, their note, and Open resume. Move it to Reviewed or Archived, or delete it. One tagged “Spam check didn’t pass” is usually spam; look before deleting. Only owners and admins can see applications.
  5. Guides: upload a PDF with a title. Visitors leave their name and email to download it, and each download arrives on Leads.
  6. Events: add the name, date, time, and place (or Online). Use your own sign-up link, or leave it empty and sign-ups arrive on Leads. Past events drop off on their own.
  7. Newsletter: sign-ups from your footer are listed here. Press Download the list for a spreadsheet you can import into your email tool, and remove anyone who asks.

What happens next: Links, openings, guides, and events show on your website after you press Publish on Your site. Applications, guide downloads, event sign-ups, and newsletter sign-ups arrive as soon as they are sent.
